We will continue towards the extreme tip of the peninsula where, lying on the white rocky beach called Jamaica, we will find the ruins of the Roman villa that bear the name of Grotte di Catullo.
Then we will head towards the promontory of the Rocca di Manerba, surrounded by its nature reserve that, from the top of its slopes, opens the gulf overlooked by the small Island of San Biagio, also known as Isola dei Conigli, and the splendid Isola del Garda, where you can admire the sumptuous Villa Borghese in Venetian neo-Gothic style, owned by the noble Cavazza family who still lives there today.
Immersed in the panorama, between the waves of the Lake and the quiet of the vast park of the private island, it will be possible to refresh yourself and enjoy a dip in the clear waters before leaving for Salò, where we will have a stop of an hour during which you can visit the historic center of this enchanting village and walk along the lakefront admiring the panorama that opens onto its gulf.
We will then continue towards the renowned town of Gardone, where we can toast with a glass of Prosecco among the famous historic houses visible from the Lake, among these, the San Marco Tower that belonged to Gabriele d'Annunzio and Villa Fiordaliso, home of Claretta Petacci, lover of Benito Mussolini.
Returning to Sirmione, on its eastern shore we will see the boila sulphur spring, from which the beneficial thermal water of Sirmione is born, before concluding the journey by entering the walls of the Scaligero Castle where it will be possible to pass under the drawbridge, the only pedestrian access to the peninsula.
